Ya’ll remember Victoria, right? She came in with an adorable peach ensemble that we trimmed down for her.  Well,  she also had a skirt that she was looking to spruce up. It was a nice skirt, but she never wore it. It hung in an odd place and she just wasn’t crazy about the overall look.

So!  To start, we took in the waist to make it a high-waist piece; this made it hang much better on her figure. For a colorful but subtle touch, we also added blue piping to the front pockets. Then, after a nice pressing, the skirt was crisp and ready to be worn!

Remember, not all tailoring projects have to be super in depth. Even just minor changes can make a difference in how you look and feel in a garment!
