About a Dress #31

We have had this crazy little piece in our collection so long! It’s one completely EPIC shirt! Unfortunately, no matter how it was belted or tied or layered, it just didn’t work, and each time we tried to revamp it we were stumped, so it went back into the storage bins. However this week was the week, and I was determined to make this thing cool again!

I’ll let you be the judge if I achieved it or not. So here we go, Crazy Oversized Shirt to Sexy Summery Cut-Out Dress…

Sad, droopy pocket:

First I removed the collar, buttons, sad droopy pocket, and sleeves, and sliced open the sides. I re-draped the front to add a front twist and cut-outs, and completely re-tailored the back to be form-fitting and friendly for a lady with a butt.

And of course I had to add my favorite detail for the closure, an exposed metal zipper! I then re-draped the front skirt to have a cool center front fold, and evened out the hem, and there you have it! Your ultimate summer dress!

Oh, and the skirt and zip are all eco-friendly, so you just saved the world as well 😀
