It’s really a special thing to help customers preserve family treasures.  When Margaret brought us this dress from her grandmother, we were smitten with its simple design and cute polka dots.  

The dress did have a small issue, though. There were stains on the shoulders. So in order to remove the stains and modernize it at the same time, we removed the collar and redid the shoulders.  We then shortened the hem, trimmed the sleeves, and voila!

It’s amazing how a few tweaks can make a big difference! Now the piece is a lovely spring/summer staple.  As Margaret said when we caught up with her, ” I LOVE the dress and have been getting tons of compliments.”  We have no doubt that Margaret looks as lovely as her grandmother must have in the very same dress. 🙂
