We’ve all been there one time or another where the knee just completely gives out on your favorite pair of jeans. However you are not ready to give up on the jeans yet. This project is a perfect example of that.

As you can see, we had quite the hole to deal with. The customer wanted something that looked cool and blended in fairly well (and was fully away there was no invisible way of helping this garment). I used some scrap denim we had in our collection, and used the wrong side of the fabric since it grabbed less attention. I then swept in with my decorative stitching to hold the patch and place, and now these jeans are ready for another spin!

Below is another photo of a recent knee repair that was more of a traditional straight line split. Let it be an example that if you catch it earlier, it can look a lot more hidden post-repair, that is if that’s what you want 🙂
