Amanda picked up this great red dress from Meeps, and it had so much potential, there was just too much fabric.

There were a few options: we could tighten up the elastic at the waist, or tailor in the dress and add a zipper, or recut the waist and chop it into a mini, or remove the sleeves, and the options keep going.

She really like the sleeves, so we decided to raise the waist so it hit her true waist, and make it into a mini.  That way should could wear a cute belt if she wants to cinch it in, and even with sleeves it is perfect for summer. And come fall can pair it over some black skinny jeans.
