About a Dress #22

This week’s dress was donated to us by Rock it Again next door because it was damaged. The seams were falling apart and there were stains at the hem.

I wanted to give this piece a mod twist, by cutting it short and adding in black accents to break up the pattern and brighten it up a bit. I removed the collar piece that was falling apart and repatterned it in black. I then cut off what I needed to at the hem to remove all staining and added the black stripe to add more interest and necessary length 😉

Wear this dress with cute wedges in the summer. Pair it with opaque black sweater tights and mary janes in the colder months. And finally, throw on your favorite worn-in boots with a grampa cardi to go run errands.

Until next week!
